SHAMIRA VAN VEENENDAAL

Hi! I'm Shamira van Veenendaal, a travel and documentary photographer whose work focuses on travel, the outdoors and environmental issues like climate justice and protecting nature. I work on my own photo projects, but I'm also available for commissioned work for outdoor brands, tourist agencies and magazines.

A part time of the year I travel with my self-built camper van. Along the way, I work on commission for clients or look for stories to document for one of my own projects. I photograph both digitally and analogue. My travels and photography work have taken me from the Arctic Circle and the former Yugoslavia to the Australian Outback.

With my work and photos I want to inspire others to go outside and explore, and raise environmental awareness.

When working on customer projects I always strive to work together on telling the story of your brand or organization. I love to work with social organizations and sustainable brands who share the same mission.
